Baguio: Quick Escape to the City of Pines ↟ᨒ

As an avid traveler, I’ll share some of my best experiences probably the most beautiful, memorable travels of my life. The one that I’m going to share with you is my trip to Baguio with my family. Baguio is known as the ‘City of Pines’ due to its abundance of pine trees, which thrive in its cool mountain climate. I noticed that these trees are a significant part of the Baguio city's landscape, contributing to its natural beauty and fresh air.

It always excites me whenever we have a trip especially if it’s a roadtrip because I love long hours drive, we arrived to Baguio in about 6 hours and honestly it’s really tiring but it’s worth it. It was a fun and cold experienced because our two layered outfit can’t fought the coldness of the weather which approximately 15 degrees Celsius. We rented a family sized Airbnb and stayed for 2 days to explore Baguio City even it is our third time there. We enjoyed our time there to have an quick escape from the city to have family time just enjoying the beautiful highlands view of Baguio. Our phone and pictures doesn’t give justice to the serene beauty of Baguio City.

Since we’ve been in Baguio for many times already, this trip is our the most chill trip because we just enjoyed our stay while enjoying the cold weather of the city. We visited some tourist spots in Baguio City but we trully enjoyed our Night Market experience because we love shopping and buy a lot of things especially foods. Me and my siblings always love having food trip because foods gives us happiness in our tummies, and I trully enjoyed it because I was able to bought a lot clothes for me.

To all camp fire lovers there, This is the best thing to do in Baguio, just enjoying the cold weather and foods that the city offers to the tourists. Our family enjoyed that night having fun experience in night market and having drinks while enjoying the campfire for the cold weather.

In our last day in Baguio, before we travel back to Manila we go to Camp John Hay. Where I felt the grandeur and beauty of Baguio city. I love taking pictures with my family with all the pine trees and fog, it really feels like we’re in clouds. After that, we ate our lunch and enjoyed the food especially the Hot Bulalo because it’s perfect food when you’re in cold weather places like Baguio.

The trip is an adventure! Even though we’re so tired, we really enjoyed a lot! Finally, I can say that THERE IS MORE TO BAGUIO THAN MEETS THE EYE. — Tradition, it’s natural treasures, generous people, the simple philosophies of life in harmony with nature.
